I thought the premiere of the new Seaquest sucked! I thought that the
script was terrible and that the show probably won't last past this
season. If I want to watch mindless action shows I can put on that crap
Hulk Hogan is doing.
Come on, I thought that Seaquest's best feature was that it was based on a
future that could be very real. It seems that the creators are trying to
compete with Star Trek by adding aliens, elf's (sorry G.E.L.F.'s) and
I'm expecting some morphin power rangers soon too!
The animation wasn't bad (but not all I had heard it would be) and I agree
that the Seaquest has lost its feeling of size. As for the new cast
members....what a laugh...everyone is perfect! Too perfect!
The reason that shows endure are because the average person can relate to
the characters. The new cast looks like they belong on Melrose Place.
I am curious to find out why all the other cast members left the show.
Were they written out (because they didn't look good enough?) or did they
leave because they saw the new direction of the show?
I hope the writers get back to writing the informative/adventure that made
Seaquest a good show.
How does everyone else feel about this?
